Mayor Andrew J. Ginther named Gateway Film Center as the first age-friendly business in Columbus for launching a series of Age-Friendly film screenings. ‘The 65-plus population in Central Ohio is projected to double in the next 20 years. But we call it age friendly not ‘old age-friendly’ because we want the improvements that we make to our City to actually benefit individuals of all ages and abilities’, says Mayor Ginther. – Inclusive Viewpoint: Chief Diversity Officer Stephen Francis of the Columbus Office of Diversity and Inclusion is a member of the Age-Friendly Columbus Advisory Council.
